COMMENDATION FOR HUMANITY

Some positive feedback came from a tragic situation at Sidhil where one of our temporary workforce sadly collapsed and died in the car park. Works Engineer George Heaton and Pressure Care Supervisor Carl Haydock went promptly to his aid and helped him in his final moments and attempted resuscitation for a considerable time, assisting the emergency services who arrived very quickly on the scene.

Following the incident, Chris Hardern, Chief Superintendent with the West Yorkshire Police, wrote to commend our two colleagues for their prompt response and professionalism on this sad occasion. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family.
