It’s official – we really are making it better!
Success isn’t all about recognition and winning
awards – but when it happens, it’s a great boost for all concerned!
This year, when the local business community came
together to celebrate the district’s best success stories, we had our name in
lights - Sidhil was judged ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ at the Halifax Courier
Awards, staged to highlight the very best of Calderdale business.
Now in its seventh year, the awards ceremony
provides the opportunity to demonstrate to a wider audience what a great place
Calderdale is to work and do business. It has become a landmark local event,
hosted again by Look North presenter Clare Frisby, delivering stories of
enterprise and achievement.
Our entry highlighted our continued investment in
manufacturing excellence, and demonstrated the resilience we have displayed in
weathering the recent economic storm, continuing to grow, introduce new
products and provide valuable employment opportunities in the area.
