Clive Siddall our Sales and Marketing
Director did a 25 mile walk a few weeks ago in aid of ‘The Jane Tomlinson appeal’
with the hope of raising money for Children’s cancer charities.
Home to the infamous Kinder
Scout, the Peak District Walk in the Hope Valley takes in the area's most
stunning scenery, including Wynhill Pike, Mam Tor and Edale, with three varied
routes for all abilities.
Clive before the walk looking good! |
Clive did the treacherous
walk with 250 other brave walkers in the wind and rain, after a late night at a
charity dinner in 9 hours.!!!
Rain clouds approaching? |
Clive said “Although the walk was very tough with a lot of up hills it was in a
beautiful part of the Peak District with fantastic views. The weather was
mostly very good if a bit cold but we did get a proper soaking in the last
couple of hours. Later in the year we plan to do similar challenges in the
Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District”
Gorilla's in the mist! |
We asked Clive how he celebrated after the
walk “Got drunk in the Murg in Saville Park to ease the pain from the blisters”
25 Miles...... DONE! |
